Kodo Millet Rice can be used to prepare everything that one makes with paddy rice – all the biryanis, pulavs, mixed rices, etc.

Rice is obtained by milling the seed to remove the husk. The grain thus obtained could be further polished to remove the bran coating, which improves the cooking time, but at the cost of losing the vital nutrients which bran is known to contain.
