Very simple and healthy snack for kids and adults too.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Jowar/Sorghum
- 1 cup Jaggery
- 1 tbsp Powdered Cardamom
- 1/4 cup Ghee As required
Servings: laddus
Instructions
- Wash sorghum and soak in luke warm water for 5mins.
- Drain the water and dry them for 10mins.
- Now keep a thick pan/kadai and let it become hot.
- Once the pan is hot, pour jowar and keep stirring with a ladale.
- When the grains start popping, cover the pan with a lid. Make sure there is a gap and the pan is not completely closed.
- Once the popcorn is ready, keep in a vessel.
- Now grind the popcorn coarsely and then add jaggery and grind it again.
- Add cardamon powder to this mix.
- Make laddus by adding sufficient hot ghee.
- Enjoy very tasty and healthy millet laddus.
